No placements, no Rojgar…where we are lacking in skilling India?

· Irregularities in Skilling youth, faces massive difficulties

Unemployment is a major hurdle in India’s growth path. Indian government had decided to give a better platform for the Indian youth so that they can polish their professional skills. With the ‘Make in India’ programme, led by Modi Government which aims to generate rojgar (employability) and hence to increase the GDP of the country.

According to a report, it has been conceded that out of 17.07 lakh students, a mere 82,183 bagged jobs since the launch of the scheme on July 15, 2015. However, the economic growth has slowed down since the last past year. There are no placements available, no new jobs have been created and the skilling youth turned out to be a perjury. According to a survey by Hindustan Times and NSDC– it has surface out that most of the institutions/training partners were found guilty of the inconsistencies in the quality of training providing by them and possible fraudulent enrollment. Moreover, the NSDC hasn’t been able to verify the mandatory Aadhaar number of more than 570,000 students under PMKVY scheme.

There are some platforms like Youth4work, which are not directly involved with this mission but is playing a major role in skilling people and providing rojgar (employability). Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work says, “the challenge is big — skilling Indian youth and making them more efficient as per the industry requirements which are diverse and to focus on specific skills without the assurance of placements is even tougher.”

Skill training is a bigger problem than uneducated, untrained people looking for jobs. “There are about 20,000 NSDC users with the availability of 80,000 jobs on our platform, says, Rachit. The training is not aligned to the demand, which means lot of people are there in certain job roles but there is no demand for these trained people. They have managed to help the potential youth and gave them a platform to prove their competencies and improve them to level up with global standards. All local and global companies can explore this large talent pool and extend their career opportunities.

Money lies in the heart of the capital

There has been one perpetual dilemma- whether to go for a private sector job or for the government sector jobs. Earlier, Indians were more inclined towards the private sector jobs, but now, the belief in public sector’s jobs even by the young generation is increasing. However, Government jobs are more secure as compared to jobs in the private sector. The government job offers huge growth aspects to employees, some sectors like insurance and banking have a provision whereby an employee becomes eligible for promotion after a certain period of time (say 3 years). Another major reason being that private sectors are prone to layoffs whereas, in government sectors the situation of the employees more or less remains intact.

A research survey by www.Youth4work.comsays jobs in the banking sector has been increased since the previous year especially in Delhi (20.85) and Uttar Pradesh (13.44), a relatively lesser increase in Madhya Pradesh (10.64), Rajasthan (10.41) and Bihar (10.26) whereas the lowest growth accounts in Chhattisgarh (6.08%). The competitive environment of the banking sector provides ample growth for individuals. It is called as the backbone of the Indian economy. Hence, we could say government jobs are started gaining more of a positive approach these days, especially in the banking sector.

Given all the perks and advantages of a lucrative job in this sector and attaining satisfaction is inevitable. On the other hand, preparing for the competitive exams for the banking sector is a major concern amongst the students. Platforms like Youth4work provides the preparation mock test which helps these students to clear these exams.

But as for the progress and development of the county both public and private sectors must go hand-in-hand as only one entity can’t lead the country in the path of success. Working with government organizations is the reputation associated with it on a whole as well as the numerous opportunities coming up in recent times due to stellar growth of Indian Economy.

Salary hikes are worked out usually at the end of the financial year and it gives you close to three months to ensure your supervisor or boss does see you working hard.

1. Self-assessment should ideally be the first thing you begin this year. With internet and technology advancing, professional talent platforms like Youth4work and others give you a chance to analyze, take numerous tests and evaluate your worth. See where you lack and where you excel.

2. Networking is extremely important, no matter which field you’re in, for it can open a lot of doors. Making connections can help you find mentorship, career advice and may lead to even new job opportunities.

3. Acquiring a new skill or set of skills this year is bound to take you higher in your profession. Competition is increasingly spreading its wings on every job sector and in order to retain a job and excel at it, it is essential that an individual constantly finds a way to improve himself/herself. How demonetisation and digital economy helps in boosting educational sector and Skill India

In its efforts to create opportunities for skill development in the country, India’s government constantly studies to provide students with the technical knowledge of various vocations. The launch of Skill India Mission strives to create a skilled workforce nationwide. The skill development scenario is expected to increase through the improvement and development in scientific & industrial aspects, further resulting in human resource expansion. The acceleration of skilled workforce will further result in accumulation of skill capital. Properly planned training is a step ahead to meet the “target of skilling 500 million people by 2022.” The scheme of Cashless Economy resulting in demonetisation hopes to upraise skill education through digital awareness.

With the aim of achieving skill development with technical know-how, India holds a pool of online portals for talent acquisition. There are many dedicated education players as well as marketplace models, who collaborate with technology to extract the best talented employees. Budget management in such a sector will boost growth of Indian educators and motivate them to use more digital mediums to educate people and aid them to enhance their skills. The digital-based platforms like Youth4work.com comprehends ways to direct the youth of today’s heavily competitive generation on the right path. The platform tends to encourage and guide the youth to help them extract and grow in their talent fields. Such platforms offer an online education criterion with short term certification courses and competitive exams. The skill development and education components would hence ensure penetrate the youth. This budget set would come up as a motivating force for the online educators, who are constantly striving hard to achieve their skill appraisal goals.

356 million youth looking for employment opportunities needs to be educated through scientific advancements, which could capitalise in the Skill India mission. Also, the less availability of employment opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities would be attained through the flourishing technology based platform. People will thus have access to multiple options to get skill education on Youth4work. The growth remains stagnant in such cities as there exist a wide gap between demand and availability. Although, these cities possess skilled labour, they do not meet up the employment opportunities which ultimately sinks their talents. The growth in these cities need to be focused more and tapped with resources of space, infrastructure, education and technology. This offset of resources will also facilitate in improved distribution of wealth, in due course increasing the status of rural India.

In the past few years, there has been much focus on skills and training, hence expectation of some tax relief for the education and training sector in this budget is on its peak. We await for the government regulations that will introduce measures to ensure retention for online education and skill development companies.

Using Technology to improve employment scenario in Rajasthan

One of the core issues that fires up in Rajasthan is employment generation in the state. With a population of 75 Million citizens, Rajasthan ranks 11 in Unemployment Rate as per 5th Annual Employment-Unemployment Survey by Ministry of Labour & Employment. Also, Rajasthan contributes nearly 4.5% to India’s GDP through mineral, agriculture & textile based industries along with Tourism sector and growing IT/ITeS sector in pockets. Govt. is taking innovative steps to curb this problem. Technology is indeed playing a major role in changing the face of skill sourcing in the state, and the statistics of Youth4work.com, a fast growing youth platform justify the new wave of career exploration by youth.

Over 40000 youth from 33 cities & towns of Rajasthan have self-assessed and showcasing their skills. The insights also reveal that experts in software development and allied services are being roped in like hot potatoes in Jaipur. BE/B.Tech, MCA and MBA graduates are enjoying an upper hand whereas the Commerce and Arts counterparts are picking up. This is primarily because of non-utilization of skill-based search technology by companies looking for Commerce & Arts graduates. However, there are other indicators of the tough competition in the job market in the state. The average annual salary offered to Fresher/Entry level people (0–3 years) in Jaipur is nearly Rs 2 Lakh, for Mid-Level level (4–7 years) is Rs 3.3 Lakh. Skills demanded by employers in the state are Software Development, Sales & Marketing, Communication Skills and Customer Support. Technology jobs are highly concentrated in Jaipur, but there are tremendous opportunities for companies to find talents in other cities & smaller towns.

Rachit Jain, CEO and founder, Youth4work says, “The economic growth of a state would significantly dependent on the gainful employment acquired by its active labor force. We have materialized on digital intelligence to produce metrics of the real skills and interests of job seekers via self assessment tests. Our technology is targeting to ease the employment scenario for youth in all the sectors.”

What is required in these dire times is maximum utilisation of human capital and technology resources already available in the state- both by youth and companies to boost employability and employment.

Empowering Youth from Small Cities

To Enhance Employability, Employment and Entrepreneurship

As a potential boost to entrepreneurship, starting companies in smaller towns is predicted to double in the coming years that will help utilizing locally available talent pool. India is believed to be the next colossal global superpower and among the countless factors that are part of the cause, India’s steady rise will be benefitted essentially due to her demographic diversity. As predictions go, by 2020 India would be a progressive nation with 116 million workers working between the age brackets of 20–24 years. The youth of the country will actually not just be a strong foundation, but also consequently the recipients of a highly promising future.

As much as we are delighted to see bright and encouraging predictions, a recent study mentioned that getting a degree alone is not the solution to lessen unemployment. For instance, out of 1.5 million engineers who pass out from college all across India, approximately 3% are apt to be employed in software or product market and a mere 7% in core engineering roles. Employment options for other general graduation streams also show similar stats. The efforts made through policies need to be reinforced at the ground level by intuitive visionaries and passionate entrepreneurs who can utilize the untapped talent to its full potential.

In non-metro cities and towns the problem of unemployability of fresh graduates as well as vocationally skilled youth is acuter. Less to the knowledge of the metro city crowd, they are disadvantaged of exposure that usually comes with closeness to an industrial and business centers. Moreover, in most cases, they lack the required proficiency in Communication Skills, English language, which by default has become modern day business language.

But, interesting data from youth platform Youth4work.com reveals that 50% of nearly 1.5 Million youth on the platform are in fact from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities & towns of India and are roaring to showcase their skills for career opportunities. Coimbatore has over 16K youth, Noida with 17K+ and Jaipur with a whopping 25K+ cite spectacular talent that Tier 2 and 3 cities hold and can be described as an asset to the cities itself.

Skills like Sales and Marketing, Computer hardware/software skills and even Customer/Technical Support are booming in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, yet very few know about it. Awareness on what talent is in store from these cities can change the entire dynamics of costing for business ventures entirely making it a win-win situation for an employer as well as the employee. The rise of the tourism and hospitality sectors also hold a great potential for local talent in small towns. Similar is the case for finding software solutions for the local market right in smaller cities as numerous sectors are getting greatly reliant on digital technology to be at par with their global peers.

“The world has moved from degree-based hiring to role-based, but now it’s swiftly moving towards skill-based recruitments. What will be interesting is the growth of talent employment linked economy in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities of India. Through Youth4work, we are empowering youth from these regions to compete with others at global level. We are not just catering to recruiters or a job-seekers, but also helping take the nation ahead by improving their skills which they lack or simply add new ones to enhance their market value. Most importantly it is essential that each graduate or under-graduate today is industry-ready and this can be done by improving their employability through competitive spirit, adding self-paced courses that create an edge, and yes creating more awareness of self assessment through social media,” says Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work.

Platforms like Youth4work act as an intermediary who not only identify the gaps between conventional education and need of job market, but also bridge the gap with life changing solutions. Open and free-to-all self-assessment tests, job-oriented certification courses and employer connect seal those gaps, for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Also, as research goes, bigger companies in India spend close to Rs 20–30K / employee on training them and developing their skills. However, a small business or venture may not be able to be that extravagant. Youth4work is helping entrepreneurs find job ready individuals be it for a big or small organisation. This will help companies employ people from smaller cities who are efficient, up-to-date with skills and help cut down costs of outsourcing work to bigger towns.

However, a small business or venture may not be able to be that extravagant. Youth4work is helping entrepreneurs find job ready individuals be it for a big or small organisation.

Youth4work, Providing vision for skill development in India

Today, reforms and recommendations for various interventions through skill development have been making news with enormous focus on giving vocational education in India its due. The huge numbers, whether it’s the budget for skill development and apprenticeship or the targets that need to be skilled and placed are creating positive vibes to realize our dreams of transformation through gainful employment of millions of youth. What needs to be emphasized is that all our plans and dreams will face several stumbling blocks at various stages of implementation in the absence of learning and applying right skills and knowledge, amply found in the way Mr. Jain led his life.

Mr. Rachit Jain, a visionary and an achiever who dreamt of skilling India through innovative ideas. To realize Mr. Rachit jain’s vision for skill development in India, several of his skills and abilities can inspire us to nurture and grow the evolving skill development ecosystem in India. The idea of ‘daring to dream’ applies to all of us as individuals and organizations who are major stakeholders in the skill development space — trainees, students, job seekers, employees, educationists, training partners, government officials, corporate professionals, teachers, trainers, parents and so on.

Youth4work.com is one such ‘People Platform’ which empowers youth to assess them, improves their talents and showcases themselves for their talents and professional achievement. In addition to equipping people with the skills, there is a huge need for improving focus on how the skill should be acknowledged and implemented accurately by understanding the long-term and futuristic benefits of society. Youth4work is a pioneer in skill assessment sector in India with over 5 years of experience in the industry.

Skills and knowledge are supposed to be the driving forces that will help in the social development and economic growth of any country. According to a report by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, India is likely to become an address to a skilled workforce of 500 million by the year 2022. It is also expected that around 12 million persons will join the movement of the workforce every year. The good news is that being the 2nd most populated country, we have become one of the youngest populations in the world full of talent and work potential, which will continue until 2040.

The accelerated growth in the economy has enlarged the demand for the skilled workforce; India has the potential to become a source of power with the rise in population. Since ages India is in a business of transforming youth into Global Workforce. The country has an advantage when it comes to an absolute number of workforces. Realizing the skill gap, many private and government organisations are running various skill development programmes and events in India to empower the weaker section of the society.

Hey Youth! Celebrate the career you are crafted for!

Growing in the society like that of India, we all are aware that our career is either one of those conventional engineer/IT side or the one you take risk for like the human resource managements, and other career oriented vocational sides. It’s important for us to know about our direction while starting our career struggle. Although one of the popular saying “Go for the road least taken” is always taught to us but when it’s about career, this saying is kept aside. I wonder, in all of those childhood questions where people wanted to know about our dreams and what we want to be, were these people ever concerned about the path well suited for us. These questions of becoming were least interested in knowing about the pathways, where exactly we need to start to achieve what we want.

According to the fifth annual employment-unemployment survey at all-India level, which was conducted across all states and union territories during April 2015 to December 2015, about 77 per cent of the households were reported to be having no regular wage/salaried person. The unemployment rate was estimated to be 5 per cent at all-India level under the UPS (Usual Principal Status) approach. Unemployment rate was 4.9 per cent in 2013–14, 4.7 per cent (2012–13), 3.8 per cent (2011–12) and 9.3 per cent (2009–10). This survey was not restricted to any one sector but had a total sample of 1,56,563 households which included 88,783 households in the rural sector and 67,780 in the urban sector.

Now the question is after having all these employment schemes that the government is working on, still the unemployment rate is not reducing the way it should have. And this is high time to know the reason behind it.

One of the finest moments are not when we are totally settled in our life and know about our secured future but it’s most likely to transpire when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable and not so happy or fulfilled. These are the moments, boosted by our discomforts, likely to force us to step out of our grooves and start searching for different ways or truer answers. These times of uncertainty make us understand that we should opt for a career, where we are celebrated and not tolerated. The way we choose to go forward with it is our own decision and ‘Youth4work’ has unearthed that path for all of us who are longing for that acceptance and success. Youth4work understands the two way process entailed by our career, here at one hand, various opportunities are made accessible to youth, also they try to provide the direction which will take us closer to what we dream of. And as here at Youth4work we say “Risk it ones or always sit with your dreams”, so now it’s your call listen to your inner-self and we will make sure to make your dream your reality.

Fear is the key to Success: Moving one with a doubt helps us grow

Every year, millions of students pass out their graduation with a dream to have a better productive future. Future is not just about getting the job but there are people who want to go for further with their studies and opt for a self-financed course or appear in competitive exams. There are thousand different ways that we think of and want to go forward with. But do we easily get these choices without any issue or maybe we do have issues which are totally normalized. The issues we want to point out is the Fear: Fear of loss and failure. Our choices are always surrounded with thousands of fears which ultimately make us unstable and doubtful on our talents. The fear of not being productive enough harms us more then not having a skill because even if we don’t have any polished skill we can still work on developing it but if we accommodate fear and doubt in our mind then no matter how much we work towards our skill development nothing will actually happen. But the question is why do we need to discuss about fear if it has such a negative impact on us, where is this fear coming from. So, we human by default are always up for plan B i.e. If the career we are opting for won’t work then we can start it all over, and these fear prepare us for that moment, teach us to move on and face the challenges.

When we were in school, a day before exams was the best day as we use to remember a lot of things clearly on that one single day, hence we can say that Fear is the key to our success. Being in pressure and having a bit of doubt on yourself doesn’t make you a loser or any less then all those people who are focused on their career and know where exactly they are heading to. A bit of confusion provides you with better option and experiences are the treat anyways.

For instance, out of 1.5 million engineers who pass out from college all across India, approximately 10% are suitable for software or product market and that of getting into core engineering roles, but what about the other 90%. Its not like they aren’t working. This 90 % are those who get into fear business and explore their skills and talents, learn and unlearn things which might not result in the instant result but definitely have the best impact in future. Employment options for other general graduation streams also show similar stats. So here we need to go forward with such policies which can be strengthened at the ground level by innate visionaries. A number of entrepreneurs are also engaged to work towards that untouched talent so that the potential of these talents can also be utilized. Each graduate or under-graduate today should be industry-ready, this can improve the employability through the competitive spirit. Also, these untamed talents need a proper awareness of self-assessment through different medias.

“The world has moved from degree-based hiring to role-based, but now it’s swiftly moving towards skill-based recruitments. We, at Youth4work are trying to create a platform where these fear are targeted. The gaps between conventional education and job market are tracked down, and a bridge is created to cover this gap with life changing solutions. There are several ways in which we are trying to fix these fear, which firstly is simply done by reaching out these people. We conduct several services like Open and free-to-all self-assessment tests, job-oriented certification courses and employer connect to make our public face and fight back their fear which ultimately covers the gaps. Also, with our research we have figured out that bigger companies in India spend close to Rs 20–30K per employee on their training and developing their skills. However, a small business or venture are not able to organize that profligate programs. Youth4work is helping entrepreneurs find job ready individuals for both big or small organization. This will help companies to employ people from smaller cities who are efficient, advanced their respective skills, which ultimately helps in cutting down costs of outsourcing work to metropolitan cities.

The Reality of Skill India Initiative in India,

How startups are pitching in and helping with Providing Jobs after skill development in India

Skills and knowledge are supposed to be the driving forces that will help in the social development and economic growth of any country and this is multiplied by 120 Cr needs when we talk about India.

According to a report by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, India is likely to become an address to a skilled workforce of 500 million by the year 2022. It is also expected that around 12 million persons will join the movement of the workforce every year. The huge numbers, whether it’s the budget for skill development and apprenticeship or the targets that need to be skilled and placed are creating positive vibes to realize our dreams of transformation through gainful employment of millions of youth.

“What needs to be emphasized is that all the government plans face several stumbling blocks at various stages of implementation like maintaining quality, delivering nos and reaching out to masses that require skills and biggest of all providing jobs for people the govt. has skilled. There can be many loop holes, inefficiencies or even unfortunate but very real mis-management and bribery in the SKILL INDIA initiative that is close to PM Modi. But, the main reason that many have overlooked is the enormity and the boldness of Mr. Modi and then in turn Mr. Rudy to take up such a heavy challenge head on. Please take a minute to understand the problem that MSDE is trying to address in such a short span of time. The Skill development initiative required India to create thousands of occupational standards as per industry in alliance with industry (there are over 1500+ Job roles already created and thousands in process), establish an eco-system across india where ethere are Training partners who have the infrastructure and will to train blue/gray collar people essentially, and then assumingly provide them skills for jobs and eventually jobs. If this challenge was not big enough the target, which is actually the need of India too is bigger than any country has ever even imagined. That is, 300M people to be skilled by 2022 and the cherry on top being that the only budget available is not even a B$.” says Rachit Jain.

Driven by the sheer nos and need of the Skilling eco-system in India, Rachit Jain was driven into making an impact with his startup Youth4work. Which already has helped over 1.5Million youth across India to test, up-skill and showcase them selves to get jobs. With over 15,000+ registered employers at Youth4work they claim to help over 4000 skilled youth in India to get interview calls from companies ‘every day, each day’.

Youth4work.com is the ‘People Platform’ which empowers youth to assess them, improves their talents and showcases themselves for their talents and professional achievement. The Need of Man power in the globe and the avilabliliyt of that man power in India are the stark facts. There is a challenge and an opportunity that India with Private players, startups and government inititive must encash, unable to do so will result in catastrophy far beyond just a financial loss of opportunity. An india with millions of job-less people will be an India with excess of crime and despair. The time to act and get serious about skilling is NOW!!

The age of ‘pCommerce’ begins

pCommerce = Commerce around People, their services, skills, education.

pCommerce is an Indian thing, India’s answer and solution for the world. The very core and the biggest strength that it has.

Two-third of India’s 1.2 billion population is under 35 years, making the country one of the youngest in the world, from a demographic perspective. As per the 11th Five Year Plan published by the Indian Government, there will be a shortage of 55 million skilled workers in 2022 in the rest of the world, whereas India will have a surplus of 47 million skilled workers.

In the World where countries are known for one of the main resource or strength that they have, like Germany for their engineering, Italy for design, China for manufacturing prowess. We Indian tend to forget the and undervalue/undersell our own core Strength. “Our People”. The services that they can offer, the skills & minds that they have.

Businesses / Startup eco-system in India has been always seeing India as a billion/trillion dollar Market !! But, Think of it, What India really is about…. Its about a BILLION people.. The Billion people become a buyer or a market when they supply or work on something.

In the blind Chase of seeing people as a buyer, have we forgotton that the first step for anyone to become a buyer is that he/she has to earn. Have we forgotton that it is not just a Billion mouths to be fed or Billion mobile pones to be sold, but is a Billions mind that can provide a service, 2 Billion hands that can work.

We Blindly copy and replicate the e-commerce models of the western society.. But forget India is about pCOMMERCE.

pCommerce is about People. anything and everything that involves development of people (education, skilling) & services that people can provide.

The so called trillion dollor e-commerce market and the amazon’s of the world all revolve around a product that is manufactured, branded, Discovered, and delivered.. Similarly.. pCommerce revolves around people being educated/skilled, categorized, found and then working somewhere in someway. Maybe it is time for India to look inwards than to just look outwards and copy.

With the era of E-commerce buzz and hype cycle coming down to realistic and now to wards the background. In the era when finally in India gross margins and profits are now valued more than the blind chase of topline. In the era where indians finally realize that their culture and the reality is that we indians actually spend our savings in Marriages, Education & Careers.

Now the era of pCommerce begins.

The era where businesses around Education, Careers, Skills, Services that take the front seat. The era where we realize let us do our Indian Thing. The era where Indians lead the world and be the supplier of services to the world.

Remember world will have a shortage of 55 million skilled workers in 2022 in the rest of the world, whereas India will have a surplus of 47 million skilled workers. Remember each of these 47 million require education, skilling, discovery, mobilization & recognization of their expertise for matching with services. Remember a trillion dollar market is only made when a trillion dollar earnings happen.

With the SBI PO Prelim exams just around the corner, let us dive deep into understanding different facets of the exam and get insights on How to crack the exam successfully.

SBI PO Prelims 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on 29th& 30th April and 6th& 7thMay this year. The exam has 3 sections– English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude carrying 30, 35 and 35 questions respectively of 1 Mark each. Wrong answers invite a negative marking of one forth marks assigned to that question. Candidates must qualify in each of the three sections by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank.

Understanding the competition in SBI PO Prelims 2017

Understanding the competition is an important step before appearing for any competitive exam, so is it for SBI PO. The candidates need to outperform others to secure a spot in main exams and then personal interview. Number of candidates making it to the Main Exam is only 20 times the number of vacancies, i.e. approximately only 48000 out of 20.4 lakh applicants are likely to crack the prelims. Also the total number of applicants has jumped by 2 lakhs as compared to 2016.

Now, talking about the cut-offs, the sectional as well as overall cut-off will be higher in 2017. The overall cut-off may increase to 48.5 marks in 2017. The category wise cut-offs, i.e. for OBC/SC/ST/PWD will also show a rising trend when compared to the 2016 cut-off.

Smart Insights about SBI PO 2017 from yReport published by Youth4work

Prep tests are online practice tests for competitive exams which are hosted on Youth4work. Lakhs of aspirants take these self-designed mock-tests as well as practice for sections and topics separately. The yReport based on this prep data is a thorough analysis which intends to provide smart insights on cracking competitive exams successfully.”

Following are interesting insights from nearly 1.2 million question attempts on SBI PO Prelims practice tests on Youth4work taken by more than 55000 aspirants:

· English Language was the most practiced section followed by Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. The higher sectional cut-offs for English language as compared to other sections is thus justified.

· Variations in the score for English Language section was less as compared to other sections indicating that the competition in English Language is very close and chances that candidate may loose on the cut-off in this section by a small fraction is high.

· Variations in the score of Quantitative Aptitude was the highest, pointing to the fact that very few candidates fare well in Quantitative Aptitude.

· It was also observed that most of the candidates were good at Reasoning Ability section and answered this section correctly, whereas the performance for English Language was worst. More practice for English Language is recommended.

· It was seen that average speed of answering a question was highest for Quantitative section. Thus, unless a candidate is very good and fast with calculations he/she should not attempt Quant section first.

· The average time per question for English Language was the lowest, so concentrating more and scoring high in this section could be a better strategy followed by Reasoning Ability.

Youth4work analyzes the representation of Education degrees in India’s young talent squad

Youth4work released its second edition of yTal India Report — insights on India’s Vital Talent scenarios, an analysis of over 1.75 lakh people who demonstrate their talents on Youth4work platform. A detailed analysis carried out on six of the most sought after IT skills cross-referenced with people’s gender and education reveals interesting scenarios.

As India is expected to be one of the most populous nations in the next decade, the population pyramid is expected to bulge towards the age brackets across 15–27. Consequently, when the nation is experiencing this ‘demographic bonus’, the youth needs direction and polishing of their skill sets.

All the stakeholders of this talent ecosystem should devise achievable plans to address the gaps in the skill development framework. The government and other partner agencies deployed for executing the skill development agenda have identified the Information Technology skills as one of the prime area of concentration. Various research and reports have underlined the fact that there has been an upswing in the development of these IT talents. Furthermore the augmentation of the job opportunities in this sector has given a new impetus to the ever-widening Indian youth to learn, practice and put into use various IT skills like Java, HTML, MySQL, ASP.NET, PHP, C++ etc.

Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work.com says, “We consider Talent as an individual’s inclination towards any productive skill that can be employed to generate income for the economy. Youth4work empowers people to self-assess and showcase their talents to the world. People take up self-assessments to show a stronger intent towards a talent and understand their relative standing w.r.t. other talented people. The insights and suggestions in this report can help to improve the relevant employability scenarios across the different education demographics.”

The analysis of youth holding different degrees who showcased an interest in showcasing their software skills unfolded many interesting insights to foray. The insights and inferences drawn from the analysis which considers number of people who showed intent in showcasing their software skills are:

· People holding BE/B.Tech degree are dominating the talent pool of software skills, as 6 out of 10 youth who presented their competency in each skill factored in the study were Engineering graduates

· The representation of the people holding non-technical degrees have come up as considerable number in each of the IT talents, especially in the basic offline coding language C++ and in the widely used programming language for website applications, PHP and ASP.NET.

· Core Java, one of the most sought after software skill in the IT sphere had almost 70% representation from the BE/B.Tech degree holders, this shows continuous inclination showed by the IT firms to opt for engineering graduates in their mass recruitments.

· The complexion of the education background doesn’t show much of a difference across different Information Technology talents as each of them are dominated by the Engineering graduates, B.Sc (IT) and BCA degree holders are yet to be a considerable population of the talent pool.

· The certitude that the gender ratio is undeniably skewed towards the males is one contention that calls out for attention. The representation of females is only 1/3rd in the number of youth who showcased their talent.

· IT companies are recruiting youth from various educational backgrounds to establish a diverse workforce, this has incentivized the non-technical graduates to learn and showcase their software skills.

· The scope for developing non-engineering graduate’s IT talents holds India’s key for becoming a global talent pool. Bridging the gap between the quality talent in demand and the human capital supply can be done by tapping these divisions of youth.

· A vocationally skilled IT workforce for sustainable economic growth can be effectively developed only if we use this existing demographic bonus optimally.

Youth4Work computes Gender Diversity in Computing World

With 1.3 billion people, India is the second largest populated country having a sex-ratio of 945 females for every 1000 males. With the increasing population, demand for jobs also increases and in this century, the very first thing a job demands is skill or talent. As the government and the stakeholders work on evolving a skill development framework to boost employment opportunities across India, it is Gender Diversity in talent pool which would be critical to monitor.

The insights and suggestions in this report can help to improve the relevant employability scenarios. From nearly 1.7 million youth on the platform, only 27% are Females, and that’s striking!”

Youth4work’s yTal India Report on Gender and Education factors have some interesting findings:

· 30% of the total youth analysed for the six IT talents are Females. Males are the rest ~70% having these IT skills. The gender ratio for all six IT talents is undeniably skewed towards males.

· Most of the Females having IT talents have BE/BTech as academic qualification, however for ASP.NET has least no. of females with BE/BTech degrees (51%).

· Overall online representation of youth with BCA and BSc.IT is least as compared to other degrees, and the same holds true for analysis of Females as well.

· Most of the youth completing BCA or BSc.IT, move ahead for PG courses like MCA, and hence MCA is next to BE/BTech as a choice to build a career in IT domains. This holds true for Females as well.

· Interestingly, technology degrees are not holding back Females to learn these IT skills, as nearly 20% of all females have non-technical degrees and are ready for careers in IT.

· 21% of all youth having Core Java and HTML talents are Females with BE/BTech degrees, whereas the corresponding number for Males is nearly 42%.

· 16% of all youth having PHP, MySQL and ASP.NET talents are Females with BE/BTech degrees against 38% males having same degree.

Though globally women are becoming more aware about showcasing their skills, the scenario in India is slightly different. This is mostly due to unawareness about avenues or platforms to position oneself as a talented women. However, integrated platforms like Youth4work are focusing on analyzing and bridging this gap and encouraging women to rank themselves against their male counterparts for all the professional skills.

80% of Youth want Personalized Learning!

Summers are vacation for many and prep time for few. These few students across the country gear up to take centrally mandated, state-administered, privately funded exams and teachers, administrators, and parents all feel that heat.

No wonder, then, that this season is often associated with test prep, which largely consists of repeated practice tests and discussions about right and wrong answers. The point of justification is, an increasing body of evidence points to one conclusion: test prep works!

About 79% of youth are enrolled to undergraduate courses, followed by postgraduate courses and others. The enrolment data from AISHE report of MHRD is the clear indicator of the ratio of people inclined towards the type of courses for their test preparations.

Out of the 79% of youth enrolled to UG courses, only20%prefer private tuition whereas out of 11% of youth enrolled to PG courses, only13%prefer private tuitions.

This justifies the fact that, a huge chunk of market prefers personalized learning. Approximately 80% of total youth prefer home based learning which can be catered well enough by online mediums.

Test preparation is one popular way that today’s youth is incorporating while preparing for jobs and higher studies. This trend is prominent among the larger chunk of youth (80%) who prefer to stay back at home and prepare. This digitized way of the test preparation is developing strong roots in the fertile land of India. A shift from traditional way of learning to this new way is the demand of the situation. Youth4work is one such platform where youth can avail this convenience and better utilize this summer vacation!

Mr. Rachit Jain, CEO and Founder, Youth4work.com says, “Drill and kill,” is the term used by educators today, but according to us, it has now become “Drill and win”. Test preps provide you this drill mechanism and every minute spent in test preps is precious. We at Youth4work understand this and are committed to prepare youth for the world, through these promising tests!

Young, Undereducated, and Jobless: Rural India

Although India has the much talked about population dividend and the required focus on rural employment programs, a recent NSSO survey highlights the fact that the unemployment levels in India have been fluctuating for the last decade.

The fact that more young people are attending educational institutions is true but it does not support another striking fact that there are still 25 million unemployed youth in the country, according to a NSSO survey. The major concern is this educated but unemployed youth of the country.

Are we criticizing the educational system of our country? No, what we are advocating is need of a parallel system with the existing one. Skilling our youth can be the solution for bringing down this unemployment.

There are a number of degree and diploma holders who pass out every year but most of them are unemployable because they lack the skills, manufacturing and services industries look for. Out of many graduates who pass out every year, only 20 per cent would meet the industry requirements. The rest would have to go through rigorous training before businesses could find them useful. Why not parallelly train these youth so that they become eligible for certification after they are skilled? Skilled youth with certification are more likely to land up with an opportunity in any formal sector.

Although it is evident that unemployment levels are inflated for urban youth as compared to the youth from rural India but the capacity of the poor sections of the society to absorb credit and to start enterprises is limited because of their inability to get themselves certified.

Certification has been a basic criterion for regulating and standardizing the employment market in the world. In order to realize these opportunities, youth with certified skills are required to capture the major share of growth.

Youth should focus to upgrade skills and get themselves certified so that they make themselves employable in the emerging industries and trades. This will ensure employment on a regular basis with a decent salary, rather than facing the risk of operating in an uncertain market.

Therefore, the strategy of focusing on skill upgradation through certification makes much more sense than the NRLM supported by the Rural Development Ministry that aims on self-employment.

On the similar lines, a more rigorous system needs to be well implemented where the government plays a key role in policy development, standards setting, financing and monitoring and evaluation, while promoting greater competitiveness and accountability by private training and testing providers.

It has formulated the National Policy on Skill Development and set a target for providing skills to 500 million people by 2022. The government has set up the National Skill Development Mission (NSDM) to bring about a paradigm shift in skill development.

Youth4work shares a similar vision and hence we support a well-designed skills training program by providing a platform that helps unemployed youth to test new skills, upgrade existing skills and find satisfactory employment. Considering the prevailing challenges, we believe that companies do not wish to hire the entry level workers directly. They outsource the entry level staff by appointing labor contractors and staffing companies. Also, individuals with some skills find it difficult to break through without a formal certification. We simplify such complexities.

In India, as the facts above speak, youth if not properly skilled will lack employment. Therefore, Youth4work has dusted out a space within itself to implement the initiative by the Government which aims at skilling and employing them. Specially for rural India, we aid training centers to connect with companies to get job opportunities for skilled people. To have solid steps forward, we also have collaborated with IFFCO to develop a unique platform called ‘IFFCO YUVA’ to cater this part of the country.

We provide support to the training partners by empowering them with online practice tests, based on NOS (National Occupation Standards), for 500+ job-roles certification assessments under 27 Sector Skill Councils. Apart from preparation tests, we manage their data and help them better track the skilled youth to have a focused and well segmented database. This organized data about youth, their acquired skills, their job opportunities, and communication with companies is a progressive step taken by Youth4work so that it later helps government agencies to better monitor and visualize the situation of rural India.

Youth4work has strictly followed NSDC provided syllabus under QP-NOS according to which training partners can offerpractice teststo students. Approximately 1.5 lakh practice question attempts have been made by people across India, on the Youth4work platform helping them clear the certifications.

From more than a million Youth profiles and thousands of jobs posted on Youth4work it was observed that there are almost 200 candidates for one job listed all over India. This figure for urban India is 30 candidates per job whereas for rural India it is 13 candidates per job listed on Youth4work. So, it is seen that there are more job opportunities available on the platform for Rural Youth.

I firmly believe in materializing the aim into reality, it is pertinent to enforce technology solutions to ensure building employable skills, motivating people for lifelong learning and conveniently connecting employers with the respective skilled workforce.

Cities over rural: Tough choice for start-ups

· Market Scenario in rural areas

The people are heading back to their natives, which is the aftermath of the emerging market in the rural areas. There is no doubt that our country these days is feeling a stroke of a new wave of entrepreneurship coming from the emerging rural towns. Despite of limited opportunities such as little access of technology and not much fluid economy many startup businesses have nestled in these places. With the onset of technology the entrepreneurs can exchanges ideas and provide a helping hand to the rural development. Therefore it’s a myth to think that rural developers cannot maintain sustainable technology.

The optimistic approach about the future economic developments in rural areas, results in, expanding the business ventures here. The vast availability of resources, lower infrastructure costs, salary levels and low attrition rate make rural a suitable business scheme. It is economically better for factories/industries to set up in the remote area as it is expensive to buy land in cities which will in turn benefit the consumers by declining the cost of production and it would boost the labor market.

Gradually the trend has changed to resemble the consumption patterns of the cities. Rural India provides a large and attractive investment opportunity for private enterprises. People need to refresh their skills which help them in long run. Technology can be used to disseminate the information about the emerging industry sectors, to give them education facilities, skilling and employment opportunities.

Rachit Jain, a young entrepreneur and Founder & CEO of Youth4work.com, says, we have taken an initiative to impact rural youth/people through ‘IFFCO Yuva’, a tie-up with IFFCO. On Youth4work, people from all over 1300 locations across India are ranked and profiled. People from rural India are about 45% whereas only 33% of the total job opportunities are available.

Many firms struggle to stay afloat and many have only managed to survive to combined with measures such as freezing fuel duty and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

However, for young people the lack of rural jobs paying a living wage and high transport and housing costs continue to make it hard for them to live in the countryside, and we urge the Government to support this group to prevent country homes being affordable only for second homeowners and city commuters.’

Why PMKVY made Training partners from these three states on standby?

Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of any country. Since government has introduced National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in India to support livelihood opportunities, many private as well as independent enterprises have emerged to partner with it with an objective of encouraging skill development for youth by providing monetary rewards for successful completion of approved training programs. The paradigm shift in the quality of professionals is required by the industry today and it is building an imperative for the growth of country’s economy.

Under the flagship of Skill India Program, 20,69,871 million people have been trained till now, however according to a recent survey by Hindustan Times and NSDC– it has surface out that most of the institutions/Training partners were found guilty of the inconsistencies in the quality of training providing by them and possible fraudulent enrollment and even blacklisted three states-U.P, Rajasthan and Haryana. Moreover, the NSDC hasn’t been able to verify the mandatory Aadhaar number of more than 570,000 students under PMKVY scheme.

As for now, we can try to lower the probability of bogus registrations by making some modifications. A firm based out of Delhi- ‘Youth4work’, has sorted their way out in a most apt manner which is managing the data online for the enrolled candidates which also verifies them. Youth4work has practice tests based on QP-NOS for 600+ job roles defined by the NSDC. These practice tests are encouraging more than 1 million people across the country to prepare better for final certification exams. People are mapped on their skills and are matched with requirements of 17000+ companies listed on platform.

The NSDC’s training partner, Brilliant Computer Institute along with its premium partner Youth4work, together organized Rojgar Mela in Dibiyapur, Auraiya in UP on 14 June 2017 where they helped in providing employability to 430 students to address the gap in the skilling ecosystem together with IFFCO-Tokio and Swarn Management. Nearly 50 students have been short listed out of which 25 have been selected for jobs.

They have managed to help the potential youth and gave them a platform to prove their competencies and improve them to level up with global standards. All local and global companies can explore this large rural talent pool and extend their career opportunities.

Administrators or Technicians: What country needs?

· M.Tech: Questionable future but immense urge in India

‘To be or not to be an Engineer’ is a big question that grapples the mind of every engineering student after completing B.E./B.Tech. Pursuing M.Tech or MBA, both the paths seem to be equally promising though the current trends show more inclination towards MBA due to attractive salaries and the wider horizons it opens.

Pursuing MBA is considered as a deviation in the career for a tech graduate but the fact is that acquiring a MBA degree helps to learn newer ways to generate economic perspective for the people. It simply means to be into a “real game” together with vast career options. On one hand holding a M.Tech degree provides you an opportunity to expand your knowledge, one can say a dig deeper into the content, and helps to expertise your field. Despite of opening new vistas and creating things through technical skills there’s worrying need for technically qualified people with M.Tech due to the dearth that currently exist in the country especially in the research and development industry in the government as well as in the private sectors.

At ‘Youth4work.com’ platform we have seen that the probability of getting jobs for M.Tech degrees holder is .025 whereas for a MBA degree holder is 0.17. Both types of postgraduates have different working methods. If technically sound MBA folks have better aptitude, they can communicate down and across which makes them better paid.

To create more opportunities for the techie and to make India digitally strong a new project by Youth4work -‘IFFCO YUVA’ (which is a tie-up with IFFCO) — a platform for rural youth under its Indian Cooperative Digital Platform has been set up, its main motive is to uplift the rural youth/India digitally, to reinforce the education, research and innovation capabilities. This ventures up skills of? many young and talented people in the villages by registering online for various online certification skill courses and taking online skill tests.

In a country where getting degrees from both IIT and IIM is considered to be as smooth sailing throughout the life. Both the premium institutes have different line of flow and prepares elite workforce. Many branded companies approach them to recruit the most talented and skilled professionals though the grass is not as green as it seems to be. This certainly restricts the chances of many talented and skilled youth. Also not all the postgraduates from such colleges get their dream jobs. At Youth4work, we believe that the young people from everywhere should be given opportunities to exhibit their skills and this is one good way to improve employability in India. Good decisions and good work comes from good experience. After all there is no substitute for experience.

We can say there is a road that forks into two one M.Tech and the other MBA and both seem equally fair. All that is required is a good vision to break the old restricting trends. Just as Youth4work.com believes in providing opportunities to the aspiring skilled people from everywhere, many young people can be assets for our nation and the big question to be an engineer or not to be, to go for M.Tech or MBA will not bother. Of course without an ultimate goal in mind it’s difficult to say which one better! So follow your dreams.

UP sees a major decline in Unemployment rates: A survey

· Employability rises in the east

The gap between the employed and unemployed youth is rapidly growing wider than we have seen over the years. Moreover, the jobs that have been created for young people are increasingly casual. One-third of the jobs held by young workers are in fact, temporary. Youth employment persists at unprecedented levels due to a skill gap- one of the higher hurdler in the employment race-which mismatch the market demands and what today’s young workers offers.

While there are opportunities to improve youth employment by encouraging youth entrepreneurship, mishandling self-employment promotion could make matters for youth far worse than they already are. The stellar business plans, people with great ideas, services and support will let us grow out of the present economic situation. The larger the proportion of productive employed labour, the greater the well-being of a society which will respite it from poverty and vulnerability.

Employment will eventually assure a healthy nation and else it would be negative without the job growth in our country. According to a report, rural unemployment rate in India has a marginal fall (3.1), while urban employment (4.2) remained steady. A sharp decline was registered in Uttar Pradesh from 9.5 in August 2016 to 2.7 in Jun 2017, followed by Jharkhand (9.5 per cent to 4.4 per cent), Odisha (10.2 per cent to 2.9 per cent) and Bihar (13 per cent to 2.0 per cent). According to a survey of Youth4work, the availability of jobs is highest in Uttar Pradesh which is 0.18%, followed by Odisha (0.13%), Bihar (0.07%) and Jharkhand with the lowest employability rates at 0.02%.

Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work says, “We know talent is everywhere across India, but there’s no single window to showcase it. Analysis of the top 6 cities with rich scope in IT career

· Indian economy growing with IT sector and so are the career opportunities

Today, youth are the massive users of technology and are making winning careers in IT and allied services sector. From innovation to thoughtful leadership perspective, technology is the key for the future investment.

In the contemporary world economy IT sector in India is the second largest exporter of technology services. What indicates the development of this sector is that the jobs once confined to Bengaluru — the IT hub of India, are diffusing to other cities as well, like in Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad etc. Also, IT industries adapt quickly to the global changes by automation and technology. For the progress and development of the country, both Public as well as Private sectors must go hand in hand as only one entity cannot lead the country in the path of success.

A research survey by Youth4work.com surfaces out that for Software and allied services, Bengaluru (30%) still has the highest availability of job offerings followed by Hyderabad (19%), Delhi (17%) and Ahmedabad (12%) and cities like Mumbai (11%) and Chennai (11%) have the least scope. Whereas, for Hardware Engineering and allied jobs, Bengaluru (30%), Hyderabad (18%) and Chennai (17%), Delhi (17%) have jobs availability on the marginal differences, Mumbai (14%) and Ahmedabad (4%) ranks the lowest.

These figures clearly show that India is expanding its roots in the IT sector and enhancing job employability across the country.

Rachit Jain, CEO of Youth4work says, “Technology always evolves into something new and more advanced and there is a need that the employees must refresh their skills time to time. Once emerging miraculously as the largest people-incentive companies are threatened as business models. The root cause of this problem is everything from how it was used to how it’s managed in these companies is constantly changing. This clearly indicates that the employees must refresh their skills.”

Fast advancement in technology infrastructure and increasing competitiveness among domestic companies will accelerate technology adoption amongst the youth in India, though there are reports of a slight declined in the investment in the IT sector. However, the number of youth/people looking for jobs in these metro cities is comparatively more in software than hardware.

The Story Behind Youth4work: My Experiences in life which seeded this idea

My first job experience indeed was a turning point in my career. As a college student I realized that I had time, I assumed that I was talented enough to actually make some real world contribution and I thought I could deliver if given a chance. I wanted to work on different areas too and see what the ground realities are; probably a real world assignment rather than just theories being preached. Being a Manufacturing Engineering student I came across a company working on a foundry and could advice a change in the way they were casting. I began working with them in 2006 with Mahindra Automotive in Mumbai where I was one of the best and fastest growing youngster who worked right at the Shop floor to the top most teams under group presidents & Mahindra all in a few years. Besides heading operations of outlets across India, I was responsible for marketing and overall brand building. Though climbing the success ladder was fast but destiny had some other plans for me. Later, I realized big companies were hiring in bulk from campus but they had no mechanism to actually gauge the true talent of a potential employee and give them a suitable department. This left huge void and dissatisfaction with the new employees; they left jobs early.

“Each and every fresher’s resume seems the same and if you can judge a person’s true potential through few minutes of interview, then you are basically considering yourself a position next to God himself. If you have actually interviewed freshers for hiring and seen how they perform, you will exactly know what I am talking about. In my second role, as a Mahindra start-up I realized that some of the interns could really out-perform some of the good employees I had and I would be willing to pay them good stipend and would like to hire them.”

In my first start-up, which was into ambient advertising and marketing, Jagbros Pvt. Ltd., what I realized that as a small company you look for people with diverse skill set and talent for hundreds of task you have at hand. That could be from a simple logo/stationary design, to Initial websites, to market research, to Sales and marketing activities, to probably a technical research, to architecture design and the list goes on. The challenge being; you cannot even think about hiring a professional for the same. You are basically looking for best talent at the lowest possible cost. Technically they never exist simultaneously. And the biggest challenge that you face upfront is to hire talent. I can bet any start-up in its initial days has hiring a team as its top most priority but everyone is clueless about how to go about the same. How can you really find and reach out to the best talent. Trust me spending weeks searching, scanning, coordinating with thousands of resumes can still leave you with no results and sometimes a bad resource as the only option to hire.

The whole process of early stage recruitment is highly frustrating, inefficient and needs to change. Probably if I sum up the experiences I can clearly see that there is much potential in the youth. There is a clear need for companies to find talent based on “Talent” not by degrees that people have or the jobs that they apply too. Building and Hiring people based on their “Assessed professional Profile” is something that I think is the need of the future.

The gist being that I really think the second most important decision in a human life is their Career choice, with millions of Youth in India and billions of youth across the world trying to learn and earn more I want to make a difference and a big impact in their lives. That’s what we at Youth4work.com will make.

Having people assess themselves and see their own strengths and weakness, improve themselves by choosing the right courses and learning (aided by our tech in suggesting) & getting noticed and employed by employers for the ‘real’ interests and skills they have is not just making an Impact but a Trillion dollar industry.

The evolution and the journey of Youth4work.com has been exciting and filled with Ups and Downs. Actually more ups than downs. In hindsight, I think lack of funds helped us immensely and figuring out what our users actually want and building the product to serve their needs rather than to serve the investor / business plan. This helped us getting deep into the users need and their journey. We experimented a lot, failed a lot. All frugally, and in the end built a product that helps youth in India and abroad in their career journey right from colleges to 6 years of work experience. From a startup & business perspective in India and developing nations specially I think all startups need to see on how to have a high LTV (lifetime value of the user) since most are going to be low paying. The business models need to be Indianised or made from developing countries and copy paste models from developed countries might not work.

Somehow the idea of building a business and proving metrics, exponential growth, engagement & revenues before actually investing big bucks on it stuck to me and my teams mind from the early days. Also, I need to admit that we could not surf the funding wave well enough but in hindsight that proved well for the business and its foundations. We were lucky to have the right set of investors who helped us remain focus and support well but enough to make the foundations strong.

We basically have dwelled and build an eco system based on needs of the youth, and have high engagement and superb word of mouth growth. We never had big funds to market that’s why worked our way around users recommending, SEO & engagement to get the growth to 2M users that we have. Communities that we have built now are powerful and growing rapidly and naturally.

We are happy and it is a proof of the Platform that we have that we had Centro Netec approach us to expand Youth4work.com in Latin America. Centro Netec is the biggest education and training company in all of Latin America with Millions of dollars of turnover and thousands of students that they train across the continent. We have found an amazing partner with roots and understanding of Spanish speaking market. This led us to expand there. In the next 6 months we will be launching the Spanish Version of Youth4work.com and within 12months aim to have a million users from Latin America and Spain.

We have been approached and currently in talks with other players in other countries and will be expanding Youth4work.com in other countries and atleast 10 more languages within next 12 months. Since Centro Netec has operations in all 12 countries we will be expanding their simultaneously. The market and user potential of Spanish speaking world is similar to India hence we see our market size now being 2x that of India and we expect heavy revenues from there in 18 months.

“With an exponentially growing base of 1.6 Million users from 1500+ locations, 9000+ educational institute profiles, 15,000+ employers advertising more than 60,000 jobs, practice tests for 230+ competitive exams, 1500+ skill certification courses, Youth4work.com is poised to positively impact the talent ecosystem in the contemporary world,” Can you please give a screen shot or any other proof for allowing me to verify the numbers? (I won’t incorporate the documents in the story).

Just to give you a context. Naukri.com adds about 12.5k users per day and we at Youth4work.com add about 4k users per day each day. We have much better insights and assessed profile compared to naukri profile which is just a resume and the employers using us are way more satisfied and happy in comparison to any job board provided they find enough users on our database. We will reach to 15k users addition every day within 6 months and then by next few years can have a much stronger base and value for anyone using naukri to use our instead, and reach to a bottom line profit of Rs.300Cr plus each year.
